We retired the old Kubota Tractor and bought a new one in 2006. This one allows us to tackle bigger jobs, and do the work faster, and with better results. This machine has a front end loader, Backhoe, Brush Hog Mower, and a Harley Rake, which is a lot like a tiller for a snowcat, but you use it on earth to level, grade, and prepare it for seeding. Its amazing what you can do with the right equipment! The other thing that is amazing about our new tractor is how much trail work can be done with it. We use the backhoe to remove stumps and rocks, grade trails, put in drainage, move stuff around for various jobs, and to mow the trails as well. The front end loader is used to lift materials and grade trails and other surfaces. The harley rake and tractor make it so we can prep a lawn site fast, and extremely well. This device can remove rocks from soil, break up clumps of earth, loosen soil, and level areas to a fine finish grade. Bluestone driveways are easily re-surfaced and leveled, and the stone is re-distributed through the surface to create a strong finished surface. Large stones can also be removed. |
