Before we bought Norsk Cross Country Ski Center I new almost nothing about the internet, websites, print advertising, brochures, etcetera. Due to our budget it became clear that I would need to quickly take on all of our design work. I bought a new computer, software such as Photo Shop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Quark, and set out to learn how to create the best website, ads, brochures and presentations that I could. A little help from friends old and new, and now I have become a competent designer.

I don't do a lot of web work or brochure design these days, and when I do I keep it simple. I think its fun to do, so when someone proposes something that I think I can do well, I often take on the project. It gives me something to do when we're not working on trails or landscaping. The creative challenge is fantastic and fun.

Below is a link to a recent site that was a lot of fun to build. It is a simple HTML site, but with a few twists that make it work pretty well. I guess simple works for me, and this website has gotten great feedback.
